Many big hoardings have been put up in Sadanand Chowk. This morning there was heavy rain along with wind in Kalyan. At the same time, a hoarding suddenly collapsed. A car, five to six two-wheelers and a rickshaw came under the hoarding at that time. These cars have been damaged. Two people have been injured in this. After this hoarding collapsed, there was a huge traffic jam in that area.

After the hoarding incident, manse workers staged a sit-in protest on the fallen hoarding. The manse will not stop their protest until action is taken against the municipal authorities and other hoardings in the city. manse District President Ulhas Bhoir was present on this occasion. Activists were also present at this place in large numbers. After this, Municipal Commissioner Indurani Jakhar reached the spot.

Cars were damaged in this accident. Panchnama was conducted at the spot. The contractor did not follow the rules while putting up the hoarding. Action will be taken against the contractor. This was explained by the Commissioner at this time. Also, a case will be registered. She also said that compensation will be given to the victims through the contractor. Action will be taken against unauthorized illegal hoarding. He also said that he will issue a notice to the Railways regarding the hoardings within the railway limits. She said that a show cause notice will also be issued to the concerned KDMC officials.
